My mother is my best friend and one of the best Karen's you'll ever get to meet. She helps out a lot with Gloomy Girl Designs. I work night shift so almost all packages are dropped off by her, for very little pay (not at all, I'm family!) But on a positive note she is very spoiled. She loves to paint and draw, and some of the designs are just rasterized versions of her art.

This business was born from a love of drawing, sewing, and creating. I have a tendency to create just to give, and after some hard convincing I have created this website from everything I love. What content is available changes on the regular, but I assure you, everything here is made by me. Either created by hand and sewn together, or digitally drawn and cut out. I take pride in the things I make and I hope you enjoy them as well.
